Absalom’s Theft

On the morning of February 25, 2024, Cole Tuck carried on his sermon series “A Man After God’s Own Heart” with a message titled “Absalom’s Theft”.   Absalom, who flourished around 1020 BC in Palestine, stood as the third and most beloved son of David, the king of Israel and Judah. Depicted in 2 Samuel 13–19, Absalom emerges as the Alcibiades of the Old Testament, exhibiting not only personal charm but also a reckless disregard for authority, leading to his tragic downfall.
